Babies

• When holding a baby, if you're calm they'll (possibly) be calm too.
• When babies eat only milk it's not disgusting to change a diaper. By the time they are on solids you'll be used to it.

Toddlers

• Pick your battles
• Get down on their level, make eye contact, use empathy.

All ages

• It's not a democracy. Remember who is the parent and who is the child.
• Don't be surprised when kids act childish. (Often applies to adults too)
